George McMillan
George McMillan, at the University from 1876 to 1891, was one of the early faculty members that found his subject to be of vital importance to college students. He specifically taught Greek, and in order to make that subject easier for his students, he collected visual aides. Many of the objects found in the upper right corner of the screen were probably obtained by George McMillan.

which they expect to obtain. The amount
of funds on hand is very limited for these
purposes. They would respectfully ask for an
increase of their fund to the amount of $50.00
if your Honorable Board can do so con-
sistently with your other responsibilities.
