Article, Albert Eugene Davisson biography

Albert Eugene Davisson studied English Literature, Latin, and Italian while working toward his Masters degree at the University of Nebraska from 1898 to 1900. However, he ended up working within the Agriculture department upon graduation. Not only did he switch fields when he started working, but he was able to use the humanities to leave the humanities. This switch is similar to student today who study Classics in order to make it into medical school.
