Kourtney Meysenburg created this project while a senior undergraduate pursuing two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Classics and one in English, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her academic interests include studying the ancient societies of Greece and Rome, the digital humanities, and school librarianship. Prior to participating in UCARE, she interned at the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities, encoding images in TEI and VRA and transcribing newspapers for Civil War Washington.
