To Whom It May Concern:

Since accupying any present position I have locked after the University's interests in three Legislative sessions. During the first of these a bill was introduced abolishing fraternities but it was never reported out of Committee. During the two last sessions I cannot recall that any reference has been made to the fraternity situation by any number of the Legislature. No one can of course tell what may happen in the future but my opinion is that the people of the State cheerfully accept the fraternity system as a part of our higher education and I have no reason to suppose that there will be at any time in the future any agitation on the part of the Legislature or the Regents to exclude them from the University of Nebraska.

Very respectfully yours,
