The 1950s appeared to be somewhat of a struggle for the UNL Men’s Swimming and Diving Team, but despite their record the team had a number of outstanding swimmers.  One was future coach Cal Bentz who started swimming at UNL in 1952 and was a captain in 1955.  Coaches Leplie and Emery coached these teams.
