Adam Pine
Adam Pine is an Australian national who swam for the University of Nebraska between 1996 and 2000. During his senior year Adam Pine won the 100 Butterfly at the NCAA Championships with a time of 51.23, making him an NCAA Champion. He was the first Husker to ever win an individual NCAA title. Not only that, but during the 2000 Sydney Australia Olympics Adam Pine was given a Gold Medal for participating in their Men's 4x100 Meter relay team. While he did not swim in the race for the Gold Medal he did swim in the preliminary round. When Pine's career was finished he left Nebraska as an Olympic Gold and Silver medal holder, an NCAA National Champion, the first Husker male swimmer to win an individual NCAA title, a 19-time All-American, four time Big 12 Conference Champion, and set a Husker record for most points scored at NCAA Championship, 102 points during his time with the Huskers.
