Increasing Security
In the spring semester of 1983 it had become evident that UNL needed to make a change. Security had been lacking, and as a result, many women of the University community felt unsafe using certain resources that the campus had to offer, such as Love Library. Having a safe learning environment is a right that every student should have, however during this time, many women at the University felt this right only existed for male students.
