We have all heard of the Board of Regents. They are the committee that decides the direction of the University of Nebraska. The six powerful people are chosen at a state election, one being selected from each congressional district. It is the Board of Regents that must appear before the state to ask for the appropriations for the next two years. The Board has the responsibility of making sure the University has enough funds to keep it running.
