In 1927, five years after the death of Frank L. Haller, letters he wrote to family during his travels were donated to the University Libraries. The letters recount Haller's trip to Europe in 1907, which started in May and ended in August. He traveled with friends Marion and Florie to France, Germany, Italy, and other locations. Haller noted that his letters would serve as a record of his adventures and this trip.
