Senior Scroller Society

  • Insignia: sSs

  • Motto: N/A

  • Claim to Fame: Yearly Newsletter

The senior scroller society is the newest of the known Greek sub-rosa's on campus (though they don't identify themselves as such). They are the newest of the groups and seem to be the least active. Much like their "fore-fathers" of Theta Nu Epsilon, they publish a Bi-annual newsletter to inform Campus Greeks of their short comings and misdeeds.

The members of the Senior Scroller Society pose for a group photo ca. 1980.

The Men of Senior Scroller Society

From their newsletter (circa 1980s ie before women joined their ranks):

We, the men of sSs, are dedicated to establishing a strong leadership and unity within our fine Greek system. We believe this goal can best be accomplished through the acknowledgement of positive achievement. We hope to strive for excellence by reinforcing campus organizations and their leaders. We believe that in order to attain these common goals, we must diligently work together on recognized problems which continually plague us.

Senior Scroller Society is not a sub-rosa, but rather a secret society of the finest men on campus today. Leaders from many areas sharing a common belief in Greek Tradition.

The current sSs, seems to have lost sight of their original mission.
