Greeting

Enclosed I sent you as complete a statement as I pos—sibly can send. When at Nebraska City I could accomplish nothing, inasmuch as my Agent was very sick and had no one to attend to his matters. There are no funds in my hands except about 300. I think about thirteen of your Warrants will be unsold, when the statements come in. In my account I put down the price received for each Warrant and the kind of funds. I am as anxious as yourself to close up this matter, but it is hard to get Agents to be prompt. I will write you in our joint a/c for the $60 interest paid for by you and the reason will be explained.

Truly Yours

John MacConihe
