Vaughn Jaenike
Special Assistant to the President for the Arts
University of Nebraska
Lincoln, NE. 68503

Dear Vaughn:

Please accept my sincere thanks to you and your secretary, Miss Loup [Luke], for helping bring some outstanding University talent to Ogallala. This area has benefitted greatly and been enriched and enlightened by the fine programs provided to us by Prof. Haagh et.al. and the very fine Jazz/Lab group under Dennis Schneider.

We have really needed a program of the type you are heading up to bring some of this fine talent to outstate Nebraska from our University. I really cannnot say enough about the response we have had from persons who have enjoyed the programs here.

Thank you again for doing such a fine job. We are looking forward to working with you in the future to get some of this talent shared across our state.

Sincerely yours,
James A. Grimes
Director of Music
