Editorial Note:This is a partial transcription of the Board of Regents minutes. It highlights only the relevant material, which is that concerning the protest against Steve Hokuf's suspension and the vote on whether to reinstate him.

A delegation of citizens is heard in protest against ruling of the dean of student affairs, suspending a student, Steve Hokuf. After hearing and discussion of the case regent Long moved, duly seconded, that the ruling of dean Thompson be and is hereby sustained.

Roll call being requested, the vote resulted as follows:
Ayes, regents Cline,Long,Marsh,Shaw,Stokes,Taylor - - - 6
The motion is declared to prevail by unanimous vote.
