Friday March 20 1894
Clear and warm all day. High S.W. very dusty all day.
Bill Joe and John worked at Orchard from all day forenoon, Pearson cut up trees in the Orchard. I took a trunk to the depot and got a boy of free at univ for Prof Cord, took casting No 2 off stalk cutter the hedges
Pearson and John worked at fence. Joe and Bill hauled brick and sand by center and hauled load of wood out of Orchard. Then hauled some rotten chips and wood to the vineyard for Jerry. Jerry worked at vineyard 5 hours, Mr. Dales and Mr. Smith out
I went to the union took some books to Mr. Smith. Bill and Joe went after the engine at Mr. Taylors. He was not at home so we did not get it. It looks and feels a little like rain.
Saturday March 31 1894
Cloudy A.M. wind N.W. light rain last night John Person worked at fence in Orchard Bill howed in field 1, Jerry and Joe and I hauled 4 load of rotten chips to the vineyard and some feed to the rabbit house.
Mr. Center was out to look at the farm. Took dinner with us, very windy and dusty.

Bill howed in field 1 for clover. John and Pearson finished the fence, trimmed wood in Orchard. Jerry cleaned out the labratory and hay pen. Joe and I took the colts and took the Dr and Baldwins to the univ then we went to town and got the bills. I got some nails and a new hammer at Walcutts we then went to the Hely Plaining Mill. Got 100 stakes 2+2+3 Oak. We then went to the store then to Taylors and got the engine, the colts worked good all day.
