Dean Roscoe Pound

A Lincoln native, Roscoe Pound was a phenomenal student at UNL earning a BA, MA, and the school's first PhD in Botany.  After college he began practicing law and even though he didn't have a law degree, by 1903 he had become the Dean of the Nebraska School of Law.  By 1910 he was teaching law at Harvard and became the Dean of the Harvard Law School in 1916.
