The 1920 Komensky Club entry in the Cornhusker. Although there were fewer members in the the 1919 photograph of the club, the 1920 image shows a return in membership numbers. Even without a Slavic Department or a dedicated faculty leader like Šárka Hrbková the club remained active. This image seems to be at odds with the lack of interest the Board of Regent used as grounds for termination of Czech language instruction at the University in 1919.
